All too frequently, small dog company owners battle over crumbs of money. Then, if they can, they try to make deals or land sales with everybody and everyone they can find, even if such arrangements are scarcely worth any money to them at all.
Try going for the more prominent clients or choosing more significant firms as partners and see what happens. Often, a single offer may make for a great month (or even a fantastic year!).
In this, there are two things to keep in mind or sound options. First, prioritise high-end items and a high-end audience. It’s far more effective to target the elite consumers instead of trying to be the low-price leader, just squeaking by upping your prices and giving more “done for you” services and goods. As a second option, you can try to focus on major “competitors” or other business owners that are considerably larger than you in a comparable industry and then try to make a contract with them to sell or promote your offers (for a big cut). You’d be amazed at how many people are eager to conduct business with you if you make it hands-free, very easy, and highly profitable for them.
Second, you might offer to white label your product or service. As long as someone else can pass off your offer as their own, you’re still responsible for completing it. For both parties, this may be a win-win situation. You can focus on fulfilling orders, providing customer service and generating additional sales without spending money on advertising or marketing. An entire business may be built on a single big fish deal.
Although it can be just as challenging to make a large sale or business transaction as making an insignificant one, most individuals choose to focus on the small fish because they don’t believe they can land a more significant deal! Any element of a company may benefit from this — whether it’s partnering with large companies, offering high-end goods and services, or even just being an affiliate because they are more costly. A $5,000 product may be just as difficult to sell as a $50 offer, as long as you’re targeting the proper prospects. If you do both, you will make a lot more.
Now and then, try pursuing more elite prospects at higher rates with better offers or searching out large partnerships to conduct white label transactions where they sell your bids on your behalf for a portion of the profits.
