Most medical illnesses that your dog or cat could have can be treated using non-traditional methods.
Brain tumours included
Alternative medicine might seem daunting, but this is where I advise you to start.

Dogs or pooch’s most common brain tumor

The most common reason for dog seizures older than 6 years old is a meningioma.
The meninges are the membranes that border the vertebral column and skull, effectively enclosing the central nervous system, which is composed of the brain and spinal cord.
Most meningiomas are benign, meaning they do not cause cancer. They do not penetrate and damage nearby tissue nor spread to other parts of the body. They are problematic since they don’t have much room within the skull. The object occupies nearly the entire area of the brain and its bath of cerebrospinal fluid, and as a tumour starts to grow, the brain tissue is compressed.
Meningioma symptoms
The most prevalent symptom is seizures.
Circling ineffectively
Blindness
Grags their feet
drunken stride
Changes in behaviour
Ataxia
head tilted
Nystagmus ( eyes flickering back and forth uncontrollably)
Paralysis (partial or full)
Strangely, meningiomas have a lot of progesterone receptors. Progesterone receptor density is associated with pooches’ more rapid development of meningiomas. Therefore, anti-progesterone drugs could be beneficial. There is no such association in cats. Anti-progesterone treatment is currently being researched.
95 per cent of canine meningiomas affect dogs older than 7 years of age.
•Dogs with long noses, especially collies, appear more susceptible.
•The majority of meningiomas in dogs develop in the front of the skull. The olfactory lobes, which manage the sense of smell, are situated in this region. Changes in behaviour or hunger can readily result from an altered sense of smell.
Traditional Medical Treatment Drugs
Prednisone can reduce swelling in the brain tissue, and anti-seizure drugs like phenobarbital or potassium bromide can be used to manage seizures if the objective is palliation or just keeping the pet comfortable and decreasing episodes. Prednisone’s unusual ability to reduce meningiomas by merely reducing tumour blood flow is remarkable.
According to one study, after 24 hours of starting prednisone, the tumour’s blood volume dropped by 21%. However, these techniques usually work until the tumour becomes too large to respond to them (3-6 months of survival in one study).
Surgery or radiation treatment to eradicate the tumour is more effective, although both are costly.
Alternative Medicine
1. Keto diet without carbohydrates, fat, or protein; MCT oil. Per 10lbs, MCT oil per teaspoon every day. Reducing glucose can reduce the frequency of seizures and slow cancer growth.
2. CBD oil: a natural anti-inflammatory that also lessens seizures and may assist with cancer. THC should be avoided as it might trigger more attacks. 3 mg/10 lb twice daily dose.
3. Reishi, a medicinal mushroom, has been examined for dangerous brain cancers in humans and has been shown to increase immunity; by 400mg/30lbs daily.
4. It has been demonstrated that vitamin D helps people live longer and cure brain cancer. The daily dosage for dogs is 100 IU/10 lbs.
5. cancer-fighting Ivermectin. Recent research indicates that it is helpful for brain cancer. 1 mg (.1 cc) per 10 pounds of dog weight each day
Despite sounding terrifying, this condition is curable. In professional experience, I’ve even had customers whose dogs had undergone successful surgery for brain tumours.
