A man and his faithful pooch were strolling along a street. The man appreciated the landscape when out of nowhere; he realized that he was dead, and his pooch had been dead for a long time as well.
He pondered where the street was taking them. Inevitably, they went to a high, white stone divider along one roadside. It looked like fine marble. As he arrived at the divider, he saw a great door that prompted an entryway made of pure gold. He and the canine strolled toward the entrance, and as he drew nearer, he saw a man at a work area inside.
He walked through the magnificent door and called out, “Hi, where are we.”
“This is paradise, sir,” another man replied.
“Stunning! Okay, could we have some water? We have come far,” the man with his pooch said.
“Obviously, sir. Come directly in, and I’ll have some ice water brought straight up.”
The man-made a motion and the door started to open.
“Can my companion,” motioning toward his pooch, “come in, as well?” the explorer inquired.
“I’m heartbroken, sir, however, we don’t acknowledge/take pets.”
The man thought a second, recalling all the years this pooch stayed faithful to him and afterwards he moved back in the direction of the street and proceeded with the way in which he had been going. After another long walk, he went to a plain earth street, which went through a ranch gate, that didn’t look like it had never been shut. There was no fence. As he moved toward the entryway, he saw a man inside, inclining toward a tree and reading a book.
“Excuse me!” he called to the man. “Do you have any water? We have come far.”
“Truly, sure, there’s a spot over yonder.” The man highlighted a spot that couldn’t be seen from outside the door. “Enter and help yourself.”
“What about my companion here?” the explorer signaled to his pooch.
“There ought to be a bowl by the fixture; he is free to share.” said the man.
“This is paradise,” was the appropriate response.
“All things considered, that is befuddling,” the voyager said. “The man not far off said that was paradise, as well.”
“Goodness, you mean the spot with the gold road and magnificent entryways? Not a chance. That is damnation/hell.” the man said.
“Doesn’t it make you sad for them to utilize your name that way?”
“No. We’re simply upbeat that they screen out the people who’d abandon their closest companions in return for material things.”
